Project Management
Product launches, press campaigns, website development to branding - across Essex, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire

With all the marketing skill in the world there will be very little success if each marketing discipline is not carefully project managed.  It is all too easy to get distracted by other immediate business needs to step back and do the necessary preliminary planning to get the most from a project.  Whether it's a product launch, some market research or an internet marketing programme it needs a clear structure from the initial concept through delivery and to the evaluation stage.  If you're a large company wanting project management support for a specific project or a smaller firm wanting another pair of hands in the office I can be of help.

Case Study - 150th Celebration in Submarine Telecommunications Installation

I project managed all aspects of this celebration including high profile events, press, publication production and the exhibition on behalf of Global Marine Systems Limited not to mention working with the Port of London Harbour Master on a regular basis.  The overall budget for this mammoth project was £1,300,000.00.  There were many individual projects that had to be managed in order to achieve overall success, eighteen months of careful preparation were required and the following tasks were completed.

  • Elektron to ’e’ Commerce – a book with contributions from BT and Alcatel.
  • Cable Ship C.S. Wave Sentinel to Greenwich Pier, London –
  • Over 1500 guests toured the ship.
  • Eight hospitality functions were hosted.
  • VIP dinner with guest of honour HRH, The Duke of York.
  • The DTI hosted the first ever Merchant Navy Day.
  • Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott hosted a press event.
  • A  year long supporting exhibition was shown at the National Maritime Museum.
  • A calendar was produced to celebrate the lives of the pioneers of the industry.
